Yesterday Tamaki & I held our wedding party, We would like to thank everybody who came along and made it such a special day, it was a very informal wedding but everybody could relax and enjoy themselves which is what we wanted
 BLACK ISLE BLONDE A light biscuity blonde style beer loaded with New Zealand Organic Hallertau Aroma hops. Not probably, but definitely the best blonde beer in Scotland. ABV: 4.5% Plus we still have some Hibernator Oatmeal Stout left as well so come if you are looking for great tasting organic Scottish beer 
Our next door neighbors sell used American clothing and fly their stars and stripes flag everyday so we thought we better put up a flag of our own, if the St Andrews is flying that means we are open for business ! 
Yesterday Tamaki & I went to Chillin Mama's Craft Cafe in Honch and made two fantastic felt Scottish bonnets, Tamaki made a nice green one and I made a grey one to go with my tweed day wear. They turned out pretty well and only took two hours to make. you can check out all the photos here at this link https://www.flickr.com/photos/27102950@N06/sets/72157647175236353/ Today I finished making another new sign for Albannach, this one is one half of an old sandwich board that I repainted green and added some lettering, a small black board , Black Isle brewery logo and the Scottish flag. Hopefully we'll be able to put this new sign at the end of our street on the Furumachi Mall. 
My friend Daniel from the USA who is a Scottish Jacobite period re en-actor has recently started a band called Highland Habbits , you can see their 1st music video below where many of his friends wear Jacobite period clothing . It's a fantastic clip and stars Daniel as the main character at the start and also shows his bagpipe playing skills as well , check it out On tap this week is another fantastic Black Isle organic beer from Scotland, now we have Hibernator oatmeal Stout 7% on tap and available in 3 different glass sizes depending on your thirst ! Last Saturday night we had a gathering of gaijin guys / chaps at Albannach as 6 of my friends came along to have a chat and drink some nice craft beer. If you are planning a party give us a ring as we can cater for groups e.g welcome , farewell or birthday parties and if you book in advance we can make a menu to suit your group. Today before work Tamaki & I visited a small rental space shop that rents out it's space to artists and craftsman on a daily basis, one of our customers uses the space to sell bread once a month and today there was a chap outside with his Bonsai trees and a lady inside making fantastic hats from rabbit fur felt. It's nice to meet some of the locals who are into traditional crafts as usually you do not often see them in the city center Our friend Osugi san the owner of The Dog House Inn in Osaka is selling Albannach Steak mince & porter pies this weekend at Kyoto's Scottish festival, pictured below are some photos of their booth and our Albannach pies |
