Yesterday the Niigata Celtic session band played at a local street festival, it was my 1st time to join the band playing the jaw harp . It was a hot afternoon and we played a 30 min set, with the aid of a microphone the jaw harp sounded quite good. But I will need to do a lot more practice for our next live show.

 One of the reasons we took the day off work to attend the recent Niigata craft beer festival , was to check out what was being made and new brews available in Japan that we might like to serve on tap at Albannach. While we both sampled a lot of great craft beer , there were a few standouts with the Coedo brewery from Saitama making some fantastic beer. So we have just put on tap tonight a 20 ltr keg of Coedo Marihana Session IPA 4.5% . If you are free drop by to try some its a perfect brew for the hot humid summer that we are already having !
