When we attended the 3rd Niigata beer festival in June of this year many people asked us if we had Black Isle on tap, not only now do we have that on tap , but we also have imported beers from Kobatsu trading such as Plank or Crew republic from Germany. Pictured below is a photo of me and Tsutomu Kobayashi of Kobatsu trading in Tokyo who is quite a well known figure at craft beer festivals across Japan wearing tradition German costume ! 

Tonight's dinner at Albannach was a Plank beer delight . The bread was made using Plank Dunkler Weizenbock , the roast pork was marinated in the same beer and I drank some of that beer with my dinner . The gravy was also made using Plank beer and prunes . If you want to try something original for dinner come along to Albannach !

Just arrived at Albannach another award winning Scottish beer  - Yellowhammer 4%

A refreshing straw-coloured beer with a flinty, grapefruit aroma. A great session beer to slake the thirst. Not a brightly coloured carpenters tool in sight, but packed full of hops for a big hit.
